The Spanish Premier League Team of the Season (TOTS) will be coming to FIFA 22 on Friday night. According to leaks, almost all cards are already known. Not surprisingly, it has a lot of representatives from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
According to well-known FIFA leaker FutSheriff, 13 out of 15 LaLiga Santander cards of the season have already been recorded. According to this, two more will be open and can be found in FUT packs on Friday, starting probably at 7pm
FIFA 22: Latest FUT Leaks Indicate Several La Liga Stars To Be Included In Upcoming TOTS Promotion
The FIFA 22 Bundesliga Team of the Season (TOTS) promotion is currently in full swing, but that will change on Friday, May 20th with EA Sports and Team FIFA adding a new set of TOTS cards to Football Ultimate Team. This group will include the best players in La Liga last season. And just like in the past weeks, some of the cards coming to FUT in the coming days have already been leaked.
Thanks to the popular FUT Twitter account and FIFA content source @FutSheriff, we seem to already know a few players who will be taking part in the LaLiga Team of the Season promotion.
Notable names include several members of the La Liga champions and one of only two teams remaining in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid. Centre-forward Karim Benzema had an outstanding season at Real Madrid and appeared to be close to earning a TOTS card. Now, thanks to @FutSheriff, it looks like the French striker will be a key player in the La Liga squad of the season.
One of Benzema’s teammates, midfielder Luka Modric, is also expected to receive a Team of the Season card on May 20.
In addition, two other names that have apparently been confirmed are Barcelona midfielder Pedri and Sevilla defender Jules Kunde. Pedri will likely have a very balanced map after the release of the Team of the Season maps for the Spanish circuit, but Kunde could be a big advantage in this lot.
The base card Koundé 83 OVR sells for around 3000-4000 coins, depending on the platform, as of this writing. The 23-year-old’s highest-rated card, the TOTY Honorable Mentions card, is also worth a decent amount. However, if this card does have strong speed, dribbling, and defensive attributes, it will become a valuable commodity due to its stats and links.
The FIFA 22 LaLiga Team of the Season Promotion officially kicks off this coming Friday.
Fifa 22 Conmebol Team of the Groupstage Prediction
goalkeeper
F. Armani TW – River Plate – 80 -> 89 Rating: We start with the goalkeeper for Conmebol, one of the few players on the River Plate. The Argentine club lead their group with a near-perfect finish, with 16 points from a possible 18 games and conceding just three goals in six games, which leads me to include Armani. There are a few other possible goalkeepers, but since River has the best defensive record alongside Palmeiras, it’s hard to ignore him.
defender
F. Noguera CB – Estudiantes – 69 -> 86 Rating: The number one defender here is Estudiantes’ Fabian Noguera, who leads the team with 13 points, conceding 5 goals. It may not be the best defensive record, but Noguera still made the third-most clearances of any player in the group stage and was one of the few to break through.
A. Barboza CB – Libertad – 75 -> 87 Rating: Next up is Alexander Barboza of the Paraguay Free Club. He’s actually one of the few defenders at the club that played FUT to have played more than three games, so he’s one of my top picks and on top of that he’s the best defender on the team .
M. Catalan RB – Talleres – 70 -> 86 Rating: The last defender is Matias Catalan, who joined Talleres from Mexican side Pachuca in January. Taleres finished second in the group, seven points behind third-placed Cattolica, with the Catalans one of the best players in his squad, holding a total of four out of six group games. No goals conceded, actually looked pretty good.
midfielder
S. Rodriguez CDM – CS Emelec – 73 -> 87 Rating: From my projected first midfielder, this is a defensive one. Sebastian Rodriguez was arguably CS Emelec’s most important player in the group stage, not only preventing their opponents from scoring, but scoring a goal himself. He finished the group stage with five goals and should definitely be there.
E. Fernandez CM – River Plate – 74 -> 89 Rating: As I said before, I have included more than one River Plate player, the next one is Enzo, son of three-time Copa America winner Francescoli Fernandez. The 21-year-old midfielder has been instrumental for the side with two goals and one assist in six group games.
J. Sornoza CAM – Independente DV – 72 -> 87 Rating: Next up is Ecuadorian international youth Sornoza. He joined Corinthians Sao Paulo in 2019, effectively on loan at the Independiente del Valle, his third loan deal in the past two years. Independiente looks to be the right choice for him, as he won the Serie A title with the club in 2021 and has been instrumental in his side’s successful run so far at the Libertadores, scoring five goals. Goal and 1 assist to win the group stage name.
A. Plata RM – Deportes Tolima – 70 -> 87 Rating: Before we start talking about the forwards, the last midfielder is Tolimas Anderson Plata. Prata, who joined the Colombian club in 2019, scored 4 goals and assisted 1 goal in the group stage.
forward
L. Janson LW – Velez Sarsfield – 75 -> 89 Rating: The first of Velez Sarsfield’s two attackers was Lucas Janson. Jensen joined Sarsfield from the Tigers in 2019 after a brief loan spell in Toronto in 2018 and became one of the Libertadores’ best players that year with four goals.
L. Orellano RW – Velez Sarsfield – 73 -> 88 Rating: The second Sarsfield attacker is right winger Orellano, a 22-year-old one-club player. He started his youth career at Sarsfield in 2009 and made his first-team debut in November 2018. In this year’s campaign for Conmebol Libertadores, he has contributed 3 assists so far, helping the team advance to the group stage.
J. Álvarez ST – River Plate – 84 -> 93 Rating: The last player on my list is Manchester City’s new signing Julian Alvarez, who would have guessed. As far as performances go, I wouldn’t consider him with just 2 assists after 5 days of action, but he scored 6 goals for Argentina in an 8-1 final group game and he definitely did By this point a goal was scored against the Prussian champions giants Union Lima.
